Python is a popular programming language. It is used to build websites and software, along with analyzing data. Python was created with a focus on code readability. Some of the most pronounced changes to Python include, the print function being built-in, removing the Python 2 input, the merging of string and unicode, and changes to integers. There are two major versions of Python, Python 2.X, and Python 3.X.
On February 20, 1991, Guido van Rossum released Python to the world. He made an ABC-like language that could talk to the 0S. You may think Python was named for the snake species, but really was named for the BBC Tv show “Monty Python's Flying Circus.” He believed the name to be mysterious and appropriately short. Python was inspired by STEL.
There are multiple reasons people like and want to learn Python. The first reason is that it is simple. It doesn’t take long to be able to use Python to print out a statement. Also, it can be used for complex strings of code, or short and simple ones. However, what I think is one of the most important reasons is that parents want their kids to learn Python because its quick, easy, and well known.
As you can see Python is a tried-and-true program form 1991, the adults and kids alike can learn and use. It has multiple versions. It also has a root for the name no one expected, a Tv show! So, if you want to learn to code, quickly and easily, boot up Python!
